Pokemon Go’s extraordinary raid week is set to end on May 28th. This means you only have a few days left to battle new raid bosses and to earn bonuses. However, developer Niantic is holding a special Lapras Raid Day tomorrow (May 25th), which will give you a chance to battle and possibly catch a Shiny Lapras.
The event is set to run tomorrow from 11 AM to 2 PM local time. During this time frame, Lapras will appear as a raid boss and you can even encounter a shiny variation of one. Additionally, you will be able to earn up to 5 raid passes which are the items that are required to participate in raids.
There are some other events on the horizon though, starting next week May 27th through June 18th Cresselia will appear in five-star raids. Kyogre will follow from June 18 to June 27, and Groudon will return from June 27 to July 10.
The above events not only give you the chance to catch these rare legendary pokemon but you will also have a chance to capture a Shiny variation of them.
Are you going to participate in the raids and catch yourself a shiny Lapras or would you rather wait for the legendary pokemon to return in the coming weeks? Let me know below!
