Overwatch Adds Replays On PTR

Overwatch Replays

Overwatch is adding a new replay feature, that is currently on the Public Test Realm (PTR). The new feature will allow you to watch your previous matches from various vantage points.

You will be able to watch your replays from a first-person, third-person, or even a bird’s-eye view which allows you to really see it all. You can use this feature as a great means of training to see where other teams tend to path. It also gives you insight into how your situational awareness is if you continuously die in a single spot you will learn where you’re getting killed from.

In addition to just multiple vantage points, you are able to slow down or speed up the game to see exactly how that one critical play went down. The replay feature is currently only on PTR for PC but it is expected to land on consoles soon.

How To Access Replays

To view, the new replays go to your profile and access the new replays tab. After that, you will be able to load up your 10 most recent games. The 10 most recent games include all game mods (except for Tutorials or Practice Range). Just like with highlights these replays will reset when a new patch is released onto the PTR.

What are your thoughts on the new feature would you make use of it? Let me know below what your thoughts are on the new replays feature!
