Nintendo TVii Will Be Shut Down

This is your last chance to say goodbye.
Nintendo TVii

Nintendo has announced that after three years TVii will be shut down on August 11 at 3 PM PDT.

The Nintendo Tvii Miiverse will also be shutting down along with the video streaming service.

“We sincerely thank you for all of your engagement within the community and the Nintendo TVii service,” a Nintendo representative said on Miiverse. “We look forward to your contributions within our many other Miiverse communities.”

This announcement follows the announcement where Nintendo cancelled TVii for Europe before it was even launched.

In recent times Nintendo has been shifting their stance away from their sub projects to refocus their developers onto their core gaming platform. There is a lot of uncertainty on where Nintendo will end up due to their lack of new IPS and the repetitiveness of their games.
