Microsoft launches Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One Owners

Microsoft released their Xbox Game Pass, for its Xbox One users this week. Game Pass, is a video game subscription service, much like Netflix, where users can download video games. The difference being, users download video games in full-fidelity, instead of streaming them. No lagging? We’re screaming!

Xbox Game Pass is $9.99 a month and offers users unlimited access to over 100 titles. The subscription gives users a 20% discount on Xbox One games too and 10% off on add-ons.

Game Pass focuses on offering access to older titles, like Netflix. Most games offered on the service are classic titles that younger players did not get to experience when they first came out. However, fan favorites that are available on the service are Halo 5, Lego Batman, NBA 2k16, and Bioshock.

Xbox adds and removes titles monthly. So, the service acts much like Netflix. Regardless, owners will always be able to find a new exciting game to play, with no lag or connectivity issues.

We love games here at The Arcade Corner, much like our staff stays up way to late watching Netflix, so we are looking forward to investing in Game Pass. Go on some gaming binges with us and let us know what you think in the comments!

Just wanted to give our readers a heads up that Microsoft is offering a 14-day free trial here.
