PlayStation 4 owners can now officially download and participate in the Marvel Heroes Omega closed beta since April 21st. The popular MMORPG has started the console edition’s closed beta for those who willingly purchased their founders pack.
The closed beta for Marvel Heroes Omega will offer 30 different characters, online play, and local co-op play that two people can play. While the test is specific for only Play Station 4 players Xbox One players are going to get their own very soon.
It’s important to note that there was no disclosed length for this beta but above we do have their official trailer. While it is nice to see another super hero theme’d MMO I feel that this particular game is only going to thrive off the Marvel Franchise and not for being a solid MMO. With lack of RPG elements it doesn’t feel like a traditional MMO and instead feels like it will come down to an arena style fighter with MMO elements.
