Blizzard has announced with a blog post that they will be unveiling the next expansion for World Of Warcraft at Gamescom 2015. The expansion will be announced on August 6 at 9:00 AM where the main event for Blizzard is expected to take off. Blizzard states in their blog post the following
The highlight of the show will happen on the Blizzard stage on Thursday, August 6 at 9:00 a.m. PDT, when we unveil the next expansion for World of Warcraft!
We’ll have four packed days of activities around all of our games. You can experience everything from competitive gameplay to developer signing sessions, from our famous costume and dance contests to live music—including a special performance from Video Games Live! There are prizes to be won in live quizzes each day, as well as our costume and dance contests. Want to show off your moves? Sign up at the booth! Be sure to check out the below tabs for all the game-specific activities, and visit the website for a full stage schedule.
This is great news because players are getting tired of Warlords of Draenor and feel that it missed the mark and that Blizzard should be focusing on adding more long-term world content and not a new expansion featuring a handful of dungeons.
Not to mention there has been a lot of speculation about what the next expansion will cover and what will be added. If you have any thoughts or opinions about what should be added post them below so we can check it out!
