Battalion 1944 Meets Initial Kickstarter Funding Goal

Battalion 1944 has met its initial funds through Kickstarter  and it has released a community thank you trailer!

The team behind Battalion 1944 has also announced that they will be launching additional stretch goals very soon, where it promises to satisfy some of the communities most requested features which follows their ethos of direct community driven development.

The developers behind Battalion 1944 released the following statement.

“Thank you for backing Battalion 1944. The team you’re investing in are ready to build the next big first person shooter. We couldn’t have done it without you, the community. We have an incredible opportunity over the next 26 days to give this game the best budget it can possibly have. All of the funds from the campaign go straight towards the making of Battalion. Please don’t hesitate to become a part of this amazing community of players and a part of Battalion’s history.” – Joe Brammer, Producer at Bulkhead Interactive

Furthermore, the developer has announced that they will invest an extra £100,000 ($145,030) of their own money into the game. All funding received passed this initial goal will be used to towards their soon to be announced stretch goals and the overall budget of the game.
