Activision Blizzard, the company and game publishing giant behind franchises such as Call Of Duty, World Of Warcraft, Overwatch and more has received a new title.
The company was previously included on the list ranked number 77 but this year it came in as No. 66. In a press release by Activision the company stated that this is the companies third year making the cut, and that it has improved its standing from last year.
“At Activision Blizzard, we hire the world’s best talent to build new worlds,” CEO Bobby Kotick said in a statement. “Our mission to inspire play, competition and community connects hundreds of millions of people, and creating a great place to work is the key to serving them well.”
“Winning a spot on this list indicates the company has distinguished itself from peers by creating a great place to work for employees,” reads a line from the methodology details.
Activision Blizzard is the only video game company that made the list this year. Google was No. 1 tied with Wegmans Food Market.
Activision Blizzard has a number of exciting-sounding games in the works, including Destiny 2 and an intriguing-sounding Call of Duty game, both of which are due out in 2017.
