Pokemon Go’s July Community Day is now behind us. Pokemon Go, developer Niantic has released some of the details for next months (August) event. August’s Community Day will begin on Saturday, August 11th, however, it will continue on August 12th, giving players two chances to participate in the event.
Now, even though the event is going to be made available on the 11th and the 12th the event will still only run for three hours each day. Players will find an increased spawn chance of a particular Pokemon and you will also receive increased bonus rewards.
Niantic will host the event during the same time frame each day (although the times will be different depending on where you live and your timezone).

North America
- 11 AM – 2 PM PT
- 2 PM – 5 PM ET
Europe and Africa
- 10 AM – 1 PM BST
Asia-Pacific
- 12 PM – 3 PM JST
The featured Pokemon was also announced and it is Eevee. You will see greater numbers of Eevee in the wild and also have a chance to find a Shiny Eevee during the event hours. Niantic has not currently announced the special move that Eevee will be able to learn during the event times.
Additionally starting tomorrow July 14th, Alolan forms of Diglett and Geodude will begin to appear in the world. Niantic has also announced that the Legendary Pokemon Lugia will return to Raid Battles this weekend only, temporarily replacing Regice.
